Over the weekend the people of Grand Cayman were given a pleasant surprise when dancehall deejay Stein descended on the R&S Entertainment Centre in George Town as the headliner for the much publicised ‘Stein In Concert’ held in the capital.
Armed with his growing catalogue Stein delivered what could be considered two of the best performances of his career on Friday and Saturday night.
Despite this being his first visit to the British territory, his music was certainly no stranger to the masses as the packed venue filled with dancehall aficionados sang in unison to crowd favourites such as ‘Sex Appeal’, ‘Easy’ and ‘Safe & Warm’ during the one hour showcase.
Stein and his management team also used the opportunity to visit a number of radio stations including the very popular Hot 104.1FM bringing fans up to speed with his latest undertakings.
“The trip was great and it gave me a chance to connect with my fans in that part of the Caribbean. The turnout was good, the people them give me a energy and is like some of them know my songs better than me” – an elated Stein said.
Now back in the island the Cassava Park deejay is gearing up for the release of his Sex Appeal video medley and plans are now in motion for another video in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile fans can look out for the release of the catchy new single ‘Cane Row’ produced by Chimney Records later this week.
